Youth Ministries

Our congregation continues to be committed to providing consistent faith based programs for our middle, high school and college aged students. We believe wholeheartedly that our youth are not only leaders for tomorrow but leaders among us now as they continue to grow as they meet the challenges of everyday life. Our students come from multiple schools and backgrounds from our surrounding communities and all are welcome. Our youth ministry programs offer safe environment and atmosphere where students are able to meet new friends and explore their faith deeply. We also offer summer camp and other conference events that enhance and reinforce opportunities for strong faith building. Our Senior high students also have an opportunity to do mission work in Mexico during their Spring Break.

Junior High: 7th  and 8th grade
Wednesday Night Fellowship 7:00 – 8:30 pm
During the school year, we meet in our fellowship hall for opportunities to meet new friends, activities and exciting games with small group Bible studies and discussions. During the summer months, we offer 8 to 9 week Backyard Bible Study program complete with pool parties, special events and excursions.

Senior High:  9th – 12th grade
Sunday Night Fellowship 6:30 – 8:30 pm

We meet in fellowship hall for group building activities, crazy games and mixers, faith building opportunities through Bible exploration, discussion and prayer. During the summer, we have dodge ball nights, picnics in the park, scavenger rallies, beach days and other events.

Heavennessence Choir
Provides the middle and high school youth of our church an opportunity to worship God with contemporary music, as well as create friendly connections with their peers. Our musical repertoire ranges from contemporary Christian pop and rock, to classic gospel. Under the direction of Jen Lambert, we meet most Sunday evenings at 5:00 pm throughout the school year. Our rehearsals are followed by a time of food and fellowship for our senior highers before Youth Group! Join us as we journey through our seventh year together. Hope to see you there!

Sr. High

All rising 9th graders through the class of 2011 are invited to come join us this summer for the adventure of a lifetime!  Our journey begins in Southern California as we cruise the highways and byways of the west coast making our way to Seattle, WA.  Along the way our quest will include treks through the Bay Area, the Redwoods of rugged NorCal coast, rafting on the Rogue River in Oregon and sightseeing and service in the greater Seattle area.

In true road trip style we will pile into passenger vans and avail ourselves to the hospitality of several churches and campgrounds on our expedition.  Following the Great Commission we will “Go Therefore…” making and becoming better disciples.
