Reverend Frank Webster, Sr. Pastor & Head of Staff

I truly love Christ’s Church and will continue to serve with energy, joy and creativity. I know none of this is mine, but much has been entrusted to our care. The mission of God’s Church relies upon all of us worshipping and serving together in unity. “Behold, how good and pleasant it is when brothers dwell in unity.” (Psalm 133:1 ESV) I look forward to being with you all.

When it comes to actually accomplishing anything for the Kingdom of God, it takes the whole body, working together to make ministry and mission effective. I tend to see the big picture, knowing that details will be worked out by those who have the gifts and skills to handle that part of our calling together.

I believe that God has been preparing me and Canyon Hills Presbyterian Church for ministry and mission together. God’s providential timing has brought us together and the time for worshipping and serving together is here! I am excited about this opportunity to journey together in this life of faith.

Reverend Lissa Smith, Associate Pastor

Rev. Lissa Smith is a Southern California native, born and raised in the greater Los Angeles area and migrating to Orange County during high school. A graduate of Vanguard University and Fuller Theological Seminary, Rev. Smith has been serving our church as Associate Pastor for Youth and Mission for over 20 years. Prior to her call to Canyon Hills Presbyterian Church, Rev. Smith has served as a youth ministry director and in our Synod’s camps and conferences programs.

In addition to her general pastoral duties, she is also responsible for creating, adapting and implementing engaging youth ministry programs for our junior high, senior high and college aged students as well as our young adults. She is also responsible for managing our mission and service projects locally and in Mexico.

Her work within the denomination has included serving as a member of the National Presbyterian Youth Ministry Committee, small group leader and conference pastor for the Presbyterian Youth Triennium, and as a delegate to our General Assembly. Rev. Smith also serves our community outside her pastoral duties as an elected trustee of the Orange Unified School District since 2001. In her leisure time she enjoys cooking and entertaining. Rev. Smith is married to Alan Smith, a local firefighter and community volunteer. They have three children, Spencer, Carter and Kelvin. As a family they love to travel together, explore new adventurous locations and spend lazy days at the beach.
