We understand that being a follower of Jesus as a high school or junior high student can be hard. We also understand that having a passionate and trustworthy community of adults and fellow students who love you, care for you, challenge you and uplift you can make all the difference during those critical years. Our desire is to bring the life-transforming message of Jesus Christ into contact with the lives of all students in a way that they can grow and develop their own independent and deeply rooted faith.
Middle School Madness meets monthly for crazy fun for everyone. Friday nights, September 27, October 18, November 15 and December 20.
With El Rancho Middle School being our next-door neighbor we love to host the middle school students on Modified Wednesday (early dismissal) for lunch and some well-deserved down time to just be young teens. Students can just hang in our youth room, play games, shoot baskets, catch up on reading or simply chill while parents and carpools avoid the pick-up time traffic jams. Modified Wednesdays are September 11 & 25, October 9 & 23, November 13 and December 4 & 18.
Senior High Fellowship every Sunday evening at 6:30 PM in the fellowship hall, includes dinner.
King & Country Concert Special – October 25
College Young Adults
Our Thursday night young adults group is a great place to grow spiritually and connect with others in the kind of authentic community that is so hard to find in college and beyond. We interact with the gospel in a conversational way, tying it back into the world around us and the practical and pressing concerns that are a part of daily life. There is plenty of time to connect with friends or meet some new people as well.
College Young Adult types gather each Thursday at 7:00 PM at the Gypsy Den in Santa Ana.
So often at churches you get student ministries, young adult ministries, and adult ministries, which leaves families in those first critical years of marriage, having, and raising children without the strong support network of their peers. CHPC believes that strong faith comes out of strong families of faith, that practice faith together, learn together, and support each other. This group is eclectic in when it meets and what it does, because that is how family life works! Join us when you can, and know that when you can’t we are still supporting, still praying, still caring because CHPC values families of faith.
