Annual Thanksgiving Service and Food Drive

Our Thanksgiving Service will be held Wednesday, Nov. 26 at 7pm 

The Food Drive begins Sunday, Nov. 2 and continues until the service on Nov. 26.

CHPC will be conducting our Annual Thanksgiving Food Drive starting during the week of November 2, with drop-offs of donated food items at available food collection bins located on the patio on Sundays and in the office during the week (office hours are M-Th from 9am to 2pm). The food drive will continue until the Thanksgiving evening service, November 26.

All food grocery items donated will be delivered to First Presbyterian Church, Orange to help stock their food pantry and support their meal program. Please put all of your donated food items into GROCERY BAGS to drop off in the food bins.

Beans: Black, Pinto, Garbanzo, etc.
Canned vegetables: Green Beans, Corn, Mixed Veggies
Canned Fruit
Canned Soup
Canned Chili
Canned Chicken
Canned Tuna
Canned Tomatoes
Cereal & Oatmeal
Pasta
Canned Pasta Sauce
Rice: 1 lb. bags preferred
Protein bars or granola bars

*Please note that “flip-top cans” are handy for items that are provided for people without cooking or eating facilities, and cans are preferred over glass jars, however not required – all food is a blessing for this program.
